Adriana's Dental Practice
Arriving back from Terezin, we made our way to Praha 4 where Adriana has her dental practice. She had booked an appointment for Karel's mom, Eva, and we tagged along so we could see where she works.
While we waited for Eva, Adriana demonstrated some amazing new equipment she had acquired by using Karel as a guinnea pig. It provides real-time x-ray pictures through a Windows based software program.
While Karel's mom was having her work done, he and I went to the Post Office to mail a parcel for Adriana. While we were out he decided to suprise his mom by purchasing some cold cuts and bread. By the time Eva had finished her appointment, he had a meal all laid out in the waiting room. I never spent such a pleasant time in a Dentist's Office.....
After we dropped Eva off at the subway station, Adriana wanted to show us the hospital where Krystof was born.
Just outside the gates of the hospital are some stunning examples of Cubist architecture.
We then made our way up to the top of the hill to an area famous for a battle between kings.
Hands!!!
How wonderful it must be to have hordes of tourists staring in your windows from the lookout behind you.........
There is a pub at the top where we had beers and suasages.......
After seeing the sights it was time to head back to Podebrady. We had Fred and Vanda's wedding the next day, and Adriana and Karel were missing Krystof.
