Early on Monday Adriana, Karel, and KK picked me up at the Pension Fontana for the drive to the Prague Airport. After finding a parking spot opposite the terminal, they all came with me to say good-bye.
Krystof was in good spirits and was enjoying his new sunglasses.
After a last good-bye and a hug from KK, I watched as the three of them headed back to their car. It was almost unbearable.
I had such a good time with them, and their friends and family, that I just didn't want it to end. Finally I headed into the Terminal to make my way through the security checks, (we'd already checked my luggage when we first arrived). Of course I didn't realize that once you went through the last check at the gate you were trapped in the waiting area....but soon enough we started boarding and it was time for the trip back to Toronto. I truly didn't want to leave...
