We took a small detour on the way to Pribyslav to see Karel's father's farmland. It was returned to his family after the fall of communism. The former tenants still farm the fields, and many of their implements and possessions are still on the property.

By 7PM we arrived in Pribyslav and made our way to Karel's family's country house. Krystof was more tha ready to get out and stretch his legs.

We were expecting Karel's university friends to show up any minute, and when they did, what a party!

While I was outside playing with KK, the gang were busy inside preparing some kind of surprise. It turns out they prepared a huge meal for us, complete with Canadian hats and flags in Deenie's and my honour. When we came in they promptly sang us the Canadian National Anthem. Boy, were we surprised! We tried to return the favour by singing the Czech Anthem, but flubbed it badly....
