On Wednesday morning, we headed out from Podebrady to visit the city of Wroclaw, in Poland. Everyone was looking forward to the trip. It would be the first visit to Poland for Deenie and I. Unfortunately KK had to stay home with Liba and Vasek as it would be too long a trip for such a little guy. Along the way Adriana wanted to detour to see some of the local landmarks. First up was Karlova Koruna, (Charles Crown), a beautiful country chateau in Chlumec nad Cidlinou.
After walking around the chateau, we visited the village.
Adriana spotted a store that had the same family name as Karel, so we went over to take a look:
After that, Karel found a cafe for us to take a quick coffee:

Then we got back on the road. Further along we stopped to visit another grand chateau.
